Instructed to craft a 15-30 second tabletop ad, I decided to research the marketing of Bumbu Rum. After finding some marketing photos of the rum bottles propped up on the beach, and with my prior knowledge that the rum is imported from Barbados, I decided to shoot a more unconventional "tabletop" at Tybee Beach in Savannah.

Last minute filming on the beach (with no permit) required a small skeleton crew and limited resources. With a Sony FX3 and a couple Zeiss lenses, we ended up with some great footage, despite battling heavy winds. I supplemented that footage with a more traditional tabletop setup indoors. The final product came out almost exactly as I intended, and I'm proud of the work. Special thanks to supervising professor Carl Thelin.
